Dedicated to the health and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.
In order for Kentucky children to reach their full potential, the Kentucky Chapter of the AAP promotes initiatives that ensure all Kentucky children receive optimal emotional and physical care within a supportive environment during their early childhood.
While children continue to develop during the school years and begin testing the limits of their autonomy, the Kentucky Chapter of the AAP supports parents in keeping children safe and healthy during this significant time of their lives.
The Kentucky Chapter of the AAP recognizes programs that help adolescents build strong and healthy foundations within the areas of physical, intellectual, emotional and social development, helping young people prepare for successful adulthood.
