The Affordable Care Act contains numerous provisions that benefit children and the pediatricians who care for them. The ACA addresses the AAP’s and KY Chapter’s highest priorities for health reform: coverage for all children in the United States, age-appropriate benefits in a medical home and access improvements due to workforce support and improved Medicaid payment rates.
